Hey. Greg with Hoss Tools. I want to show
you a couple of new items we added this year. First is the Hoss Survival Tool. It comes
with a nice, nylon sheath. Made in the USA. Overall length is about 13″. Blade length,
4″ right here. The chisel tip is about 1″. 1095 high carbon steel. The black there is
powder-coated. The grind here you’ll need to keep coated down with some mineral oil
or something like that to keep it from rusting. It’s going to sharpen easy, it’s a good steel.
It has a nice handle on it and a lanyard hole and comes with a paracord lanyard. It’s kind
of like a small axe — we call it a survival tool. You can chop about anything you want
to with this. It has a nice feel to it. You can trim limbs. I used the chisel tip the
other day to but ice out of the ice trough for the horses. Just a nice tool to have around.
It’s $79.95 and that’s the Survival Tool and the sheath. Next is the Utility Chisel and
this is a man of a tool right here. Overall length on this thing, 10 1/2″. The blade is
going to be about a little over 4″. It has a leather paracord. It has a nice wooden handle
on it. The wood feels really good in your hand. The thickness right here of this spine
right here is 5/16″. It’s full tang. It has a bolster there on the end where you can take
a hammer and chisel or whatever you need to do — pry something open here. A massive tool
— it has a nice grind on it there. It’s sharp. This tool here could be used for prying, for
chiseling or anything. We call it around here the “knisel”, half knife and half chisel.
A tool like this right here is made in the USA, it’s 1095 steel, great quality. This
is something you can hand down to your grandkids. It comes with a nice nylon sheath — $94.99.
